Since our beginnings in 1961 as Luwa Corporation, LCI Corporation has provided thousands of systems to the process industries for a wide variety of applications.
LCI is widely recognized as the leader in agitated thin-film separations technology used in the manufacture of chemicals, specialty polymers, food products, and pharmaceuticals. In addition to the most experienced engineering team in the industry, LCI offers the widest range of thin-film technologies solutions include Turba-Film®, Rotovak®, Vistran®, Ajust-O-Film, Filmtruder®, and many others as well as technology provided through our teaming arrangement with Buss-SMS-Canzler in Europe. Our contact drying technology is provided through the SMS partnership.
LCI also specializes in designing and fabricating membrane separation solutions for the chemical process industry.

Historical Highlights
LCI Corporation was formed in 1961 as the U.S. distributor for Luwa AG of Switzerland with the original name Luwa Corporation.
In 1984, LCI became part of the Pneumafil Group, which included Pneumafil Corporation and Southeastern Metal Products.
In 1992, Luwa Corporation changed its name to LCI Corporation.
In 1995, LCI acquired the thin-film product lines of Cherry-Burrell, Kontro, and Blaw Knox.
In 1998, the Pneumafil Group became part of Beacon Industrial Group.
In 2003, LCI obtained the distribution rights of Canzler GmbH evaporation systems and short-path technology when LCI's teaming partner Buss-SMS acquired Canzler.
