Process (Chemical) Engineer

LCI Corporation requires a Process (Chemical) Engineer for our Evaporator/Distillation Division to work from our Charlotte, NC headquarters. Primary activities include sizing and costing process equipment for sales proposals, presenting sales proposals to clients, and designing and executing pilot plant testing. Additional activities include field and start up services, prospecting for new markets for LCI’s proprietary technologies, and serving as a technical resource.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a professional work ethic, possess sales skills, and demonstrate an energetic, highly motivated disposition.  A B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering is a requirement along with a minimum of 2-5 years in the chemical process industry. Experience with Process Simulation Software, AutoCAD, OSHA & EPA training, safety training, ASME Code is desirable. Travel is approximately 25%.
