New Continuous Thin-film Dryer for Pharmaceutical Intermediates
The Contivac™ NDP processor from LCI Corporation can provide a reduction in residence time of up to 500 times for many pharmaceutical / food applications in which batch dryers have conventionally been applied. Residence time, even with moderate process temperatures, can produce unwanted side-reactions and color changes.
In addition to better product quality, the quick response time of the Contivac thin-film dryer reduces manpower and reduces or eliminates product storage.
New LabVap System Available
A standard LabVap™ skid system is now available from LCI. This system contains durable components including a frame, feed tank, a metering pump, condenser, and pressure gages for positive and vacuum pressures. Additionally, this skid contains a system for collecting your concentrate and distillate streams. The LabVap™ skid is being used to develop products and processes involving thermal separation of process streams. Learn more
