Pilot Equipment

In addition to our pilot testing services for evaluating LCI technology, we can provide laboratory equipment for lease or purchase.

LCI's D-Velpac^® series of evaporation equipment includes packaged components mounted on a free-standing support frame. In addition to the thin-film evaporator with approximately 1.4 square feet of heat transfer surface, the D-Velpac includes a rotor drive, vapor pipe/condenser bonnet, condenser, and options for an automated bottoms discharge system.

D-Velpac systems are available for lease and provide an inexpensive means to evaluate thin-film evaporation of your products within your own facilities with quantities approaching pilot plant scale. Data collected from the D-Velpac can be used to scale-up to larger sizes.
